主講人簡介：
Prof. Amy Zeng is currently Full Professor, Associate Dean and Director of Operations and Industrial Engineering Program at the Foisie School of Business of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from University of Washington, and a B.S. in Industrial Management Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Dr. Zeng has over twenty years of teaching experience in the U.S. and has taught supply chain management for a variety of audiences. Her research interests center on coordination mechanisms and decision-making under risk/uncertainty in both forward and reverse supply chains and on logistics process improvement in various industry sectors. Dr. Zeng has published over ninety articles in peer reviewed academic journals, books and conference proceedings, delivered nearly a hundred speeches at a wide range of occasions, and led numerous research and teaching innovation projects. Additionally, Dr. Zeng has consulted companies with respect to global supply chain and logistics management, lean principles implementation, quality management, inventory and materials management, and process analysis and capacity planning.
內容簡介：
This seminar discusses green/sustainable supply chains – a hot topic at the forefront of today’s supply chain management, and shares some of my current research projects and interests in this area. In particular, I will discuss two of my recent articles. The first one is on forging high-quality virtual enterprises in a reverse supply chain through solution portfolios, and the other paper discusses the second-hand mobile phone supply chain design, decision and collaboration.
