2017年3月3日下午，英國考文垂大學Prof.Ming K. Lim（林明錦教授）在主樓216會議室做了題為“Achieving true sustainability in supply chain management”的學術報告，臺灣龍華科技大學的曾明朗教授與偉德國際官網眾多師生一起參與了本次報告會，報告會由張祥教授主持。
在報告中，林教授首先介紹了可持續性的定義及發展歷程，指出在當前環境下企業實現可持續發展的重要性。進而林教授就供應鏈管理及研究如何包含可持續性三個維度，即經濟、環境與社會，作了闡釋。林教授通過一系列實際案例，向大家闡明了在實踐中如何做到真正的可持續性。隨后，林教授介紹了循環經濟的相關內容以及未來可能的研究方向。報告會后，林教授與曾教授一起和現場師生就相關問題展開了深入的討論與交流。
報告人簡介：
林明錦（Ming K. Lim），英國考文垂大學教授，主要研究方向包括：供應鏈與運作管理，可持續供應鏈，RFID等相關內容。其研究成果發表在Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Logistics: Research and Applications, International Journal of Production Research, Industrial Management & Data System, Production Planning and Control, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of the Operational Research Society, Expert Systems with Applications等多份國際期刊上。林教授目前擔任SSCI期刊International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications聯合主編，同時是RFID Advanced Research Alliance的創始人。
